Introduction to Floral Design

September 27th 2:00-4:00PM

Join us for an introduction to floral design at the Burlington Surf Club.

You’ll learn tips and tricks from the trade to design an arrangement from stem to centerpiece. After an introduction and some instruction, you will practice with local farm flowers and make your own arrangement with one of our repurposed mason jars.

Your guide:

Erika is a self taught florist who began her career in New York City. She created Blooming New York and learned the craft while freelancing for an amazing group of mentors. She has freelanced for designers such as Everwild Blooms, Tin Can Studios, and created arrangements for marketing events such as Haastens, and Meaux Space. Her passion for flowers continues through nature walks, sharing her knowledge with friends, and making seasonal arrangements when she can.
